Last November 13, CMCA  held a year-end staff meeting in the Vaughan Korean Community Church mission cafe. In this meeting, we looked back upon the ministry during the year and discussed what to do in the upcoming new year. Attendees exchanged opinions about how each can embody the ministry in charge and cooperate together. We shared middle eastern food including lamb steak. Especially impressive for us was a scene that we made intercessory prayer for Hurshed from Uzbekistan. Everyone laid hands on his head, shoulders and prayed seeking God’s help for him in the final judgment on his asking for refugee status. We believe that God will listen to our earnest prayer and make it happen.
