“이 때에 네가 만일 잠잠하여 말이 없으면 유대인은 다른데로 말미암아 놓임과 구원을 얻으려니와… 네가 왕후의 자리를 얻은 것이 이 때를 위함이 아닌지 누가 알겠느냐” (에스더 4:14)

주 안에서 동역자된 여러분께 문안드립니다. 그동안 하나님께서 인도하시며 만나게 하시고 행하신 일들과 사역 내용들을 나누며 함께 기도하기를 원합니다.

정치적, 종교적, 지리적 여건등으로 그들 나라 안에서 선교가 어려운 환경 가운데 있는 종족들에 대한 복음 전파 및 교회 개척의 돌파구를 찾기 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 특히 무슬림 선교를 위하여 소말리아와 방글라데시 선교사, 인도네시아 목사, 파키스탄 목사 그리고 이집트 교회 지도자와 이집트 무슬림 출신 사역자(사 진2)와 만나 무슬림 종교적 배경을 가진 종족들에게 어떻게 복음을 효율적으로 전하며 교회를 개척할 수 있는지 의견들을 나누며 구체적 방법을 찾기 위해 기도하고 있습니다. 이와같이 정치, 종교적 핍박과 어려움이 있는 지역의 지도자들과 함께 동역함에 있어서 원수 대적들의 공격에 좌절하지 아니하고 성령 충만함 속에서 나아갈 수 있도록 특별히 기도를 부탁드립니다. 회교권인 소말리아, 방글라데시, 파키스탄, 아프카니스탄, 인도네시아 그리고 불교권인 스리랑카 싱할리시 종족 (사진1), 티벳등 공동체와의 관계 속에서 복음 전파와 교회 개척 가능성을 계속 찾아가려합니다.

특히 스리랑카 싱할리시 종족 교회 개척 – 이 종족은 스리랑카 주종족으로 기독교 비율1% 미만이며 모이기 시작한지 2개월로 어린아이 포함 20여명으로 모든 면에서 매우 연약하여 기도와 지원이 필요함 – 과 소말리아 교회 그리고 방글레데시 교회 개척을 위한 하나님의 인도하심을 구하고 있습니다. 이종족들의 복음화와 교회 개척을 위해 계속 기도를 해 주시면 고맙겠습니다.

그동안 필리핀 교회와 런던 교회에서 설교와 CMCA 비전 나눔을 통해 소수 민족 선교 중요성을 전하였고 캐나다 주류교회 2, 중국교회 2, 이집트 교회 1, 한국 8 교회가 소수민족 교회 개척에 관심을 갖고 있습니다. 이 모든 교회의 리더와 성도들이 모두 하나 되어 이 사역에 적극 동참 하도록 기도해 주십시요. 또한 선교 단체 SIM Canada와는 매우 긴밀한 협력 관계속에서 함께 사역을 추진하고 있으며, CCC Agape Impact에서 선교 세미나를 갖고 청년들에게 캠퍼스 선교를 통해 다민족들을 주께로 인도하도록 도전을 주었으며 Toronto YWAM과 소수민족 선교의 구체적 시행을 위한 교육 훈련과 더불어 사역팀을 구성하여 사역을 추진할 예정입니다.

Networking 현황 : CMCA 사역을 위해 조언해 줄 영적 조언자 그룹을 구성하고, 범 교회적으로 한인 및 비한인 교회 (캐나다 주류 교회, CRC교단, 에디오피아 교회, 중국 교회, 이집트 교회, 파키스탄 교회, 필리핀 교회, 인도네시아 교회, 스리랑카 교회등)의 지도자들을 만나 비전을 나누며 어떻게 함께 동역할지 방법을 모색하고 있습니다. 선교단체로는 SIM Canada, Interserve, Wycliffe, CCC, YWAM, FFM (무슬림 전문 선교 단체) & CNMM(무슬림 전문 선교 단체), TIM Centre등의 대표자 또는 사역자들과 함께 하나님 나라를 확장을 위해 동역할 수 있도록 마음을 모으고 있습니다.

그 동안의 만남 속에서 교회와 선교단체 그리고 성도들에게서 이 땅에 불러내신 종족들에 대한 복음화 열정을 볼 수 있었으며 우리들을 그 종족들에게로 이끄시는 하나님의 손길을 강하게 느끼고 있습니다. 이와같이 하나님께서 새롭게 열고 계시는 길을 잘 분별하여 순종하는 지혜가 함께 하는 모든 동역자들에게 충만히 임하도록 기도해 주십시요.

또한 이사역을 위해 중보 기도와 함께 여러 분야에서 동역할 수 있는 분들이 일어나기를 소망하고 있습니다.

‘우리가 이땅에 사는 것이 바로 이 때를 위함이 아닌지 누가 알겠는가?’라 자문하면서 하나님 앞에 잠잠히 나아가 성령님의 부르심에 순종하는 교회와 주의 백성들이 많이 일어나도록 기도하여 주십시요.

Intercessory Prayer Partners,

I would like to share how the Lord has led us and what he has done for us at CMCA. I sincerely ask you for your continued prayer and support for our CMCA Mission.

We at CMCA are trying to deliver the Good News and planting immigrant diaspora churches for people whose nations have limited or no access to Gospel due to the political, religious and geographical reasons. Recently we have met ministers and ministry staffs from Somalia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan and Egypt and discussed and prayed how we can effectively preach the Gospel as well as plant churches for predominantly Muslim nations from Muslim background.

We ask you to pray for us to be in the fullness of the Holy Spirit when working with the ministry leaders from such countries. We will continue to look for ways to share the Gospel and plant churches friendship with those of Muslim and Buddhist background, from ethnic communities from Somalia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, and Tibet etc.

In particular, please continue to pray for the Singhalese church plant, they are the majority tribe in Sri Lanka but Christians make up less than 1% of the population. In Canada their church started only 3 months ago and currently have 20 church members including children. We also look for the Lord’s guidance for Somalia and Bangladesh church planting. Please pray for these churches.

14 churches (2 Mainstreams, 2 Chinese, 2 Egyptians and 8 Koreans) are interested in this mosaic cultural ministry. Please pray for them to actively participate in this ministry.

We have been working closely with SIM Canada, a mission organization, in this ministry. Also we had mission seminars with CCC Agape Impact for the young Christians so that they can be encouraged to participate and lead the campus missions. We will also train staffs and make a mission team in cooperation with Toronto YWAM to actively seek for the ways to share the Gospel to those immigrant diaspora community in Canada. Please pray for all ministry to be fruitful in God’s guidance.

Recently CMCA is networking pastors and missionaries from mainstream Canadian, Immigrant diaspora churches such as Korean, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ethiopian, Chinese, Egyptian, Pakistan, Philippine, Indonesian and Sri Lankan, Bangladesh churches, etc. to reach out to unreached people diaspora communities.

We also are networking to collaborate with mission organizations such as SIM Canada, Wycliffe, CCC Agape Impact, Toronto YWAM and TIM Centre for God’s kingdom.

Through the meetings and ministries with these churches and organizations, I have witnessed their passions for the Gospel and was convinced how God speaks to us to bring the Gospel to immigrant diaspora communities in Canada. Please continue to pray that the Lord would thrust forth his workers into His harvest field in Canada.
